I hate celebrity culture. It's an evil capitalist invention. Celebrities are not worth our attention, I really feel like that. I think we should all be provided for starting with the most vulnerable people. I think children, elderly people, disabled people, sex workers, prisoners and trans people should be taken care of the most because of the historical and present day marginalisation. Celebrities hoard resources and therefore care, they glamorise wealth hoarding and I don't rate it.
I don't want to add any more attention to them, and I don't want to use my voice to legitimise them.
I am still a product of my environment and slowly and surely trying to undo the indoctrination in capitalism I've been force fed my whole life.
I wanted to delete my Wicked post but I don't want to self censor, I want to get to a level that I don't discuss celebrities at all but I'm not there yet. And I don't want to hide in this space. I have to accept myself as I am. I hope my actions can line up with my beliefs more and more. I value truth and honesty and vulnerability and I want to embody that. I want to hold the contradictions in me and acknowledge them, I don't want binary thinking to be my default. I need to make space for my humanity, again and again and again.
