Tw: Tr*mp mentioned, comments on violence in media

Last night I had a nightmare about authoritarian state agents stalking me/chasing me. I think Tr*mp and For Coloured Girls fucked me up. 

I don't usually watch violent movies, because I tend to have nightmares after. I hate Tyler Perry movies, I hate movies with loads of guns, gore, and ultra violence. Doctor Who is a bit much for me at times, I don't watch horror movies and refused to watch Squid Games. I didn't enjoy the Godfather movies, or Scarface and The Birds terrified me. I wouldn't dare watch Alien v Predator, I don't believe I've seen any Tom Cruise movies, I haven't watched Die Hard either those things are just not my taste. I remember watching a Demon Slayer movie with my friends and I had to stop watching because even animated gore disgusts me. I did think the art style in Demon Slayer was gorgeous and really enjoyed the design of the demons but ultimately I couldn't hack it. 

For Coloured Girls did get me down even though I stopped watching half way through. I'm not a huge movie person, especially Hollywood movies, I don't really watch movies by myself it's normally a communal thing. I have no aspirations to be a film buff, I just enjoy spending time with my friends. I prefer Yoruba films on YouTube.
