• Writing as a writer

I am a trans disciplinary artist, I have a holistic approach to self expression, knowledge production and creativity especially as someone free from the confines and constraints of European academia.

But first I'm actually a poet, I'm actually a writer. And I know that podcasts and short form videos are some of the most popular media on the worldwide web but I'm actually a writer. I can't concern myself with what's popular. I need to concern myself with what's me? What feels good to me? True to me? Aligned with me? What is fun to me?

I have to stay in my lane, it's so fun here. I love writing my thoughts and feelings. I love writing poetry. I love writing philosophy. I love micro blogs and mini essays. I love script writing. I love learning how to write a song, I love reading, I love hearing lyrics, I loved Tumblr and Twitter, I love audiobooks, I love to be read to, I loved magazines and reading the morning newspaper.

I recognise that one tenant of white supremacy is to be overly focused on the written word. I try not to be wholly focussed on the written word however my lane is writing I can't stop writing. I have deep discussions and amazing talks, I make music and take pictures and make visual art and I'm getting into mixed media. I enjoy TV shows and both short form and long form videos. I hope that people take my work and keep translating it into all sorts of mediums from sculpture to cooking recipes. I don't put writing on a pedestal I'm called to write so that's what I do.

So what makes more sense than a blog? Where I can write to my heart's content.
