• Olólùfẹ́ Collective

Most of the posts on Olólùfẹ́ Collective are carefully scheduled, the posts here probably won't be. I think it'll be a live and direct ting. Actually depends on how I'm feeling. Olólùfẹ́ Collective is closer to a journal than blog. Like it's a virtual publication, but I guess we called it a blog because that's what came to mind. But it's the published works of writers mostly so it's v close to a literary journal. There's visual art and events published but again it's mostly poems, short stories and essays.

This side is my side, informal, candid and chatty. There will be microblogs, random pictures, links and videos. It's a Tumblr, without reposting I guess. I think about Tumblr a lot. I was wondering if O Collective should start a Tumblr and just automatically post everything from the blog there. It's a very queer space and that's who we seek to affirm. I don't know, it's another thing to maintain. But truthfully Tumblr makes more sense to me than Insta or Tiktok. We are all mostly writers, the vast amount of art we share is literary, visual art and music are lovely accompaniments but the meat is our writing.

I joined another platform called Sunroom for a personal candid space like this one but it was an Instagram supplement and I'm not even on Instagram. I shared two screenshots of essays I wrote and it didn't make no sense. So I deleted Sunroom. Especially since I couldn't edit the captions and I wanted to add image descriptions.

Olólùfẹ́ Collective has an Instagram and I don't know what the hell will be posted on there but I guess we'll find out. Tbf we have a short film in the works, Insta and Tiktok should be good for marketing that.
